Terms & Conditions

Dancer Classification: Novice is for complete beginners with little/no stage experience. A score of 83+ moves a novice to the Medallist division. Qualified teachers cannot compete.
Routine Rules: Duos/Trios must be 100% novice to enter novice. Troupes must contain at least 90% novice dancers. Re-dancing is only allowed for Novice and Baby sections; Medallists may re-dance for technical issues only. Dancers are limited to 1 solo per genre.
Entries & Payments: All entries must be submitted by the Dance School. Entry is only guaranteed upon receipt of full payment. All fees are completely non-refundable unless cancelled due to Covid-19.
Scheduling & Changes: You must be available for all days of the event booked. While the schedule can change up to the release date, downloading our official app gives you access to a live schedule. The app tracks the programme in real time, showing you exactly where we are so you are always up to date. Please note the festival may run up to 1 hour early. Organizers reserve the right to alter or merge sections or change venues and dates without liability.
Backstage & Venue Rules: Only 1 teacher per school is allowed backstage. Venues must be left clean; a minimum £25 cleaning fee will be billed to schools leaving a mess. Absolutely NO GLITTER inside the venue (apply outdoors only). Property damage must be paid for by the perpetrator.
Music Submission: All music must be uploaded directly to the system using our entry link, where you will submit both your routine entries and their corresponding music tracks. Always bring a backup device (phone or iPad) to the event. Please note that no vocals are allowed on vocal tracks, and no tap sounds are allowed on tap tracks.
Awards: Overall trophies are presented at the grand end-of-competition finale.
Media Consent & Photography Policy: Strictly no personal filming or photography is permitted during the event. We have an official on-site photographer available on the day, where you can view and purchase high-quality images. Additionally, all routines are being professionally filmed, and full video recordings will be sent directly to each dance school after the competition. By entering, parents and principals grant full permission for names to appear in programmes and for official visuals/recordings to be used on our official social media and promotional platforms.
